We would like to invite our parents to stand for election as a parent governor, or nominate another parent to do so. At WSAPC we have one parent governor and there is currently a vacancy. Attached is a paper written by the current Chair of Governors giving his experience, to give you an idea of the role of a parent governor within WSAPC.
We do hope you will consider putting yourself forward for this vital and rewarding role. Please find attached a letter from Doug Thomas, Head Teacher which gives further details together with a nomination form and an information sheet summarising the circumstances under which someone cannot serve as governor.
The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 1st November.
