We recently sent out a survey so that parents/carers could indicate if they are key workers. If you are a key worker, thank you for the work that you are currently undertaking- we will continue to support you for as long as it is possible, however when making the decision to send your child to school, please review the flowchart below.

The safest place for your child is at home. If you can provide childcare then your child should not be in school. This is to keep the numbers of children down to continue to prevent the spread of the virus. This is a service for key workers in essential roles. We expect parents and carers to support us and only send their children into school when all other options have been exhausted.

In order to support our planning and provision it is very important that you keep us fully informed of any changes to your circumstances.

A reminder to all parents that, if your child or any other member of your family is exhibiting symptoms of Coronavirus, you need to self-isolate your family for a period of 14 days. If any child is unwell we will send them home immediately. If they exhibit symptoms of Coronavirus we will expect them to self-isolate for a period of 7 days. If a child is sent into school already ill it will affect our future capacity to support our other key workers. Working with us and adhering to these guidelines will be the difference between us being able to support our key workers or not.

We continue to appreciate your support and will support our front-line key workers for as long as we can. Please continue to follow government advice and check for regular communication from the school. If you are one of our parents or carers who is a key worker, and if you are in doubt as to whether we are able to care for your child, please see the graphic below-
