The time of the day is changing at WSAPC Secondary Centres. From Monday 5th December 2022 the school hours will be 08:30am through to 2:30pm. We recognise how important developing strong attendance patterns and access to a broad curriculum supports reintegration back into the mainstream school environment or appropriate provision and provides the knowledge and skills essential to having successful futures.
The school will start with registration and the meet and greet from staff teams at 08:30am before moving into tutorials and assemblies from 08:50am, providing a welcoming start to the day where targets are set and the learning begins.
The more time your child is able to access education, the greater the benefits will be to them, and we are grateful that we can count on your support to continue to provide positive opportunities for young people across the county.
Your child’s Head of School/Tutor will provide individual details as we make this change and make the transition to the new timetable.
Please note that our Primary Schools’ days remain unchanged.
