APC Burgess Hill

Our Burgess Hill Centre is a vibrant, inclusive environment serving pupils from Reception and KS1 through to KS4. It provides structure, support, and space for young people to reengage with education, refocus on their ambitions, and reintegrate into the next phase of learning or life with confidence.

Alongside academic progress, we place strong emphasis on life skills, behaviour for learning, and emotional development, helping students understand what’s right and wrong, build self-regulation, and make positive choices both inside and outside the classroom.

Behaviour intervention is a core part of our approach, with targeted strategies and staff who model calm, consistent, and compassionate behaviour management. Every young person is supported to develop respect, accountability, and resilience, while learning the social and emotional tools they need to succeed in wider life.

The APC Curriculum Access Team (CAT) also works closely with our centre and local schools, providing flexible, early interventions that help students remain in education and thrive in their current setting wherever possible.
