APC Chichester

Our Chichester Centre is a small, nurturing environment for Reception, KS1, and KS2 pupils, where individual progress is celebrated and personal growth is central.

Each student follows a personalised learning plan focused on building trust, curiosity, and confidence, with creativity and practical learning embedded throughout. We blend core academic subjects with hands-on projects and outdoor learning to encourage independence, teamwork, and self-belief.

Behaviour intervention plays a key role at Chichester, supporting young people to recognise their choices, understand how their actions affect themselves and others, and develop stronger emotional regulation. Through behaviour for learning and targeted support, students are encouraged to reflect, navigate challenging situations positively, and build skills that strengthen both their wellbeing and engagement with education.

Our work extends beyond the classroom. We collaborate closely with families, local services, and the APC Curriculum Access Team (CAT), which supports mainstream schools through targeted, early interventions that help prevent exclusion and promote inclusion. This partnership ensures that young people stay connected to education and receive consistent, joined-up support across all settings.
