APC Littlehampton

Overview

Our Littlehampton Centre sits at the heart of the community, offering a creative, purposeful space where KS3 and KS4 students can reconnect with learning and rebuild their confidence.

Housed within a beautiful Grade II listed building, it provides a sense of stability and belonging; a place where young people are supported
to grow both academically and personally.

The team here takes a balanced approach, combining clear structure with creativity, and care with challenge. Behaviour intervention is an important part of this, helping young people build self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop vital life skills. Through consistent support and positive relationships, students learn to navigate challenges, make constructive choices, and apply these skills both in and beyond the classroom.

We also work closely with the APC Curriculum Access Team (CAT), which supports mainstream schools through early, flexible interventions that reduce the need for exclusion. This partnership ensures continuity for learners and helps create a strong behaviour-for-learning culture across both our centre and local schools.

At Littlehampton, learning goes far beyond the classroom. Alongside core academic subjects and vocational pathways, students take part
in enrichment activities that build teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Every programme is designed to help young people discover their strengths, gain qualifications, and prepare for their next step, whether that’s reintegration into mainstream school, further education, or training. This is a centre that doesn’t just teach lessons; it helps shape futures.
