WHAT WE DO

_____

Just like all schools, APC is committed to maximising student attainment and so our students will be working towards nationally recognised qualifications. All students, irrespective of their starting points, will be provided with opportunities to achieve and celebrate their progress. Our Inclusion Team also provides support to West Sussex schools to promote student re-engagement and reduce the number of permanent exclusions.
The structure of APC responds to the widely differing needs of our students. APC provides locality based centres, blended learning mentors, e-Learning packages, collaborative working with other alternative provisions and with mainstream schools. At APC we recognise that every individual learns differently, and our staff are committed to adapting their teaching to match the learning styles of the students.
At APC we design our curriculum to provide a breadth of educational opportunities designed to engage and motivate students and to promote self-esteem and confidence. We have consistently high expectations of our students and so, at all times, we promote rigour and challenge within any APC learning environment.
